CRYSIS/CRYRECON KNIFE CONCEPT
Well thought I would take a break from the mountain of UVW work im currently hacking away at lol to try and concept a Knife for both Crysis and CryRecon. The model is currently untextured and the animations criminally simple, but I just wanted to get a model ingame to concept the actual mechanics of a knife for the engine. It is absolutely alpha but the concept itself works fine. Seeing as it seems to be such a heavily requested asset over Crymod I will also be releasing a community version for the guys over there. Animations are just placeholders for now so please ignore them in the video below.

WIP BENELLI M1014
Felt the need to do some more modelling seeing as we are not quite at quota, this time its the M1014 Benelli Joint Service Shotgun. One of 3 CryRecon shotguns. Still working on the hand grip shape but its slowly coming together. These images are WIP.

BEOWULF .50 ASSAULT RIFLE
Yet another exciting update from team modeller Mong0ose. This time it is the .50 calibre Beowulf assault rifle. The Beowulf is a modified M4 carbine rifle capable of firing a 50 cal shell in full auto. This weapon is truly the equalizer in any firefight.

OICW "AIRBURST" GRENADE STYLE
Just a quick test to concept one of the 4 grenade fire modes for the upcomming OICW for CryRecon. This video demonstrates the "AirBursting" window mode, which allows for the operator to detonate the grenade inside of cover, for example doorways and windows.

CBU-72 BLU-73B
Back with a short WIP concept testing both the satellite GPS beacon positioning system and also the CBU-72 BLU-73B fuel air explosive cluster warhead for CryRecon:NanoWarrior. The warhead explodes at approximatley 30 feet above the ground, spraying a pressurised fuel mixture into the air which forms a thick cloud. This cloud is then ignited by the fuse forming an immense pressure explosion capable of destroying hard and soft targets caught within it. This payload is currently being supplied by the F117-A NightHawk.

CBU-87B CLUSTER BOMB TEST
Decided to take a day out from the AH1Z Super Cobra model im currently working on to add another airstrike munition type (one of many). The CBU-87B is a cluster bomb containing 202 collision detonated bomblets. The main delivery bomb splits open at a pre-designated altitude delivering all 202 bomblets over a large area, causing massive destruction to soft targets.

This is very much a WIP at the moment and has a variety of bugs, most of them linked to the physics used to deliver it. The model is also a quick test job for concepting. Will be updating this when it becomes more stable.

M249 SAW : SQUAD AUTOMATIC WEAPON
Have managed to get a rough working version of the Saw into CryRecon for my support character. Currently working on the 1st person version to include in the players weaponary, however it is extremly buggy without the SDK, so here is the 3rd person team mate version for now, which works fine.

JAVELIN SYSTEM
Back with a quick update showcasing the Javelin Anti-Armour Missile System for CryRecon:NanoWarrior. This is just an alpha at the moment with various additions still left to do (including a HUD) etc. Here is a link for a video demonstrating the "Top Attack" fire mode.
